5. Post-Purchase Transparency — What to Expect After Your Purchase
ZAVINA maintains a dedicated "What to Expect After Purchase" page which proactively communicates the complete post-purchase customer journey. ZAVINA utilises Shopify Inc.'s native customer account login system in its entirely unedited and unaltered form. Customers access their account and membership management portal by entering the email address associated with their purchase, upon which Shopify's system automatically sends a one-time authentication code to that email address. No password is required at any stage, eliminating any possibility of customers being unable to access their account due to forgotten credentials. This frictionless, passwordless login system is provided and maintained entirely by Shopify Inc. and ensures that every customer can locate, access, and action their membership management portal with minimal steps and no technical barriers. For customers with a Shop account — Shopify Inc.'s native consumer payment and account platform — login is even more immediate, with account access available in a single step through their existing Shop credentials. This further reduces any friction in the cancellation process and demonstrates that ZAVINA's membership management infrastructure is built entirely on Shopify's own trusted consumer-facing systems.
ZAVINA maintains full policy transparency across all customer touchpoints. Our Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Subscription Policy, Shipping Policy, Terms of Service, Cancellation Policy, and Warranty information are all publicly accessible and clearly linked in the footer menu displayed on every page of the store without exception. There is no absence, ambiguity, or inaccessibility of any policy that could constitute a transparency violation under Shopify's merchant requirements or applicable UK consumer law. ZAVINA does not have missing, unclear, or inaccessible policies of any kind.
ZAVINA does not misrepresent its products, pricing, subscription terms, delivery timelines, or any other material information at any customer touchpoint. Every claim made on the store is accurate, substantiated, and consistent across all pages and communications. ZAVINA does not engage in any suspicious, deceptive, or high-risk merchant activity of any kind and poses no risk to Shopify Inc., Shopify Payments, or their payment partners.
ZAVINA consistently maintains chargeback rates well below Shopify's flagged thresholds. Our proactive pre-purchase disclosure model, transparent post-purchase communications, immediate cancellation access infrastructure, and responsive customer support channel collectively minimise the conditions that give rise to disputes and chargebacks. Customers with concerns are directed to our support team for immediate resolution, further reducing dispute rates. ZAVINA's chargeback profile does not constitute grounds for merchant risk classification or payment restriction of any kind.
ZAVINA's Shopify Payments descriptor is accurately and consistently registered as ZAVINA, which is fully consistent with our store name, brand identity, domain, and all customer-facing communications. There is no mismatch between our registered business information and our operational identity. ZAVINA has provided all required documentation to Shopify and maintains no verification deficiencies, outstanding document requests, or registration inconsistencies of any kind.
ZAVINA maintains a high standard of store and account security. There is no history of suspicious account activity, suspicious logins, unauthorised changes to banking or payment details, or suspected fraud associated with this store or its Shopify account. Staff access to the store is managed with strict internal security protocols. ZAVINA's store has maintained multiple years of continuous operational history on the Shopify platform without any prior Shopify Payments complications, compliance violations, Terms of Service breaches, or regulatory issues of any kind. There is no historical data, pattern of behaviour, prior account action, or operational characteristic that identifies ZAVINA as a high-risk merchant or that indicates ZAVINA poses any risk to Shopify Inc. or its payment infrastructure.
ZAVINA fully acknowledges and respects Shopify's responsibility and right to manage payment risk across its platform and recognises that Shopify's compliance processes serve an important function in protecting the integrity of its payments ecosystem. However, on the basis of the comprehensive documented evidence presented throughout this Statement of Compliance, it is formally declared that ZAVINA does not meet any of the criteria that would legitimately justify a payment hold, account restriction, rolling reserve, or any other account action under Shopify's published merchant standards and Terms of Service.
Accordingly, in the event that any hold, restriction, rolling reserve, or account action is applied to ZAVINA's Shopify Payments account, it is formally asserted that such action would be inconsistent with the documented facts, incorrect in its risk assessment, and not supported by any legitimate compliance or risk basis. ZAVINA formally requests that any such action be reassessed immediately upon review of this Statement of Compliance and its supporting documentation, and that ZAVINA's payment processing be restored without delay pending that review.
ZAVINA is committed to operating fully within Shopify's policies, maintaining complete and proactive compliance with all applicable platform requirements and UK consumer protection legislation, and sustaining a long-term, transparent, and fully compliant merchant partnership with Shopify Inc. This Statement of Compliance and all supporting documentation linked herein is available at all times for review by Shopify's merchant support, payments, risk, and compliance teams.
8. Order Tracking, Fulfilment Transparency and Shipping Policy Compliance
ZAVINA provides every customer with real-time order tracking through a dedicated Track Your Order page, accessible at all times through both the store header navigation and footer menu. This ensures customers can independently verify the status of their order at any point following purchase without needing to contact customer support.
All orders containing physical products are dispatched with a tracking number which is provided to the customer via email upon order fulfilment and dispatch. This is consistent with Shopify's fulfilment requirements and our published Shipping Policy.
ZAVINA's published processing times of 1 to 3 business days and standard delivery windows of 5 to 15 business days are communicated consistently and without contradiction across every customer-facing touchpoint including our Shipping Policy, all product pages, our What to Expect After Your Purchase page, our order confirmation email, and our FAQ page. There is complete consistency between what is promised to the customer at the point of sale and what is delivered operationally, satisfying Shopify's requirement that merchants accurately represent their fulfilment timelines.
Furthermore, ZAVINA's Shipping Policy contains a clear and explicit disclaimer notifying customers that published delivery timeframes are estimates and that delivery times may vary due to factors outside of ZAVINA's control. The Shipping Policy states verbatim:
"Crucially, please be aware that as ZAVINA operates on a global logistics model, this timeframe is an estimate. Delivery times may vary and can be extended due to factors entirely beyond our control. In rare instances, and due to these unavoidable international logistical variables, delivery may take up to 25 business days."
This disclaimer is published prominently within our Shipping Policy which is publicly accessible at all times through the store footer menu and directly linked throughout multiple pages across the website. By publishing this disclaimer, ZAVINA has fully discharged its obligation to inform customers of potential delivery variability before purchase, in compliance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and Shopify's merchant fulfilment standards.
It is therefore formally stated that any variation in order processing or delivery time within the parameters disclosed in our published Shipping Policy does not constitute a violation of Shopify's Terms of Service, a breach of consumer protection law, or grounds for payment restriction or account action of any kind. 12. Shopify Platform Compliance
ZAVINA operates exclusively on the Shopify platform and processes all transactions, including subscription billing, exclusively through Shopify's native payment infrastructure and Shopify-approved subscription applications. ZAVINA does not process any subscription or recurring payments outside of Shopify's approved billing systems.
ZAVINA's subscription membership product, ZAVINA+, is managed exclusively through Appstle Memberships, a Shopify App Store approved subscription application developed and published by the App HQ team. Appstle Memberships is fully compliant with Shopify's Subscription API requirements and is an officially approved and widely adopted subscription management solution available through Shopify's own App Store ecosystem. All recurring billing, membership management, cancellation processing, and subscription lifecycle events are handled through Appstle Memberships' integration with Shopify's native subscription infrastructure. ZAVINA does not use any unofficial, unapproved, or third party subscription billing mechanism outside of this Shopify App Store approved application and Shopify's native payments infrastructure. The use of Appstle Memberships as ZAVINA's subscription management platform provides an additional layer of platform-level compliance assurance, as the application itself is subject to Shopify's own app review and approval standards.
All subscription disclosures displayed at checkout are generated through Shopify's native subscription notification system as described in Section 3 of this statement. These disclosures cannot be altered, suppressed, or bypassed by ZAVINA and represent Shopify's own platform-level compliance mechanism, confirming that ZAVINA's subscription checkout meets Shopify's published standards for subscription merchants.
ZAVINA's use of Shopify's infrastructure for all payment processing, subscription management, and checkout disclosure ensures that the technical compliance of our subscription product is underpinned by Shopify's own systems, in addition to the merchant-level compliance measures documented throughout this statement.
13. Consumer Protection Compliance
ZAVINA operates in full compliance with all applicable UK consumer protection legislation. The following legislative frameworks are specifically addressed:
- The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 — Customers are clearly and repeatedly informed of all subscription terms, pricing, and cancellation rights before completing a purchase. A straightforward and multi-route cancellation mechanism is maintained and accessible at all times as documented in Section 6 of this statement.
